Trattoria Napole Zoga
In a lush green vineyard, among old olive trees and plane trees, among the traditional villages of Tinos, lies a gastronomic destination unique in its kind. The restaurant Napole Zoga is an ode to island cuisine, the Cyclades, and authentic hospitality. It directly overlooks Mykonos and Delos, while from its courtyard you can embrace almost all the Cyclades – that’s why Triantaros is called “the balcony of the Cyclades.”
In the kitchen, Dimitris Karousiotis, with a long-standing career at the emblematic Varoulko of Lefteris Lazarou (2 Michelin stars) and the Italian restaurant Napule in Athens, combines high culinary technique with genuine respect for the raw material. His culinary philosophy is based on seasonality, freshness, and locality. He cooks with products he collects daily from small producers of Tinos and the Cyclades – from fresh fish and seafood to artichokes, cheeses, legumes, and herbs.
85–90% of the raw ingredients come from a small, carefully selected community of partners. He personally selects the fish, seeking the freshest and most suitable for the season. The salads and vegetables come from his own garden, while the exceptional extra virgin olive oil comes from the olive grove of Aeolis, as do most of the herbs and fruits grown next to the restaurant. Tomatoes, eggplants, fennel, chives, and edible nasturtium flowers bring to the table aromas and colors straight from the earth.
The local gastronomy is creatively highlighted through signature dishes such as scampi with bottarga and lemon, tender octopus, chickpea fritters that melt in your mouth, and yard-long beans transformed into little taste surprises. At the same time, the Italian side of the kitchen is honored with authentic products straight from Naples – fresh pasta, pizzas from world-renowned Neapolitan artisans, masterful risottos, and delightful lobster spaghetti.
The wine list of Napole Zoga is a journey through the Greek vineyard, with special emphasis on Cycladic labels, carefully selected from small producers. The restaurant’s brunch is also a special experience, in a warm and light-filled space, surrounded by greenery and the scents of herbs.
The atmosphere, with its simple, elegant decoration, beautiful music, and open view of the Aegean, creates a place that offers gastronomic pleasure as well as emotional rest.
Napole Zoga is not just a restaurant – it is a life experience. A gastronomic destination where Cycladic tradition meets creativity, authenticity combines with technique, and food becomes a celebration of nature, flavor, and companionship.
